      CDL downgrade for drivers “prohibited” in the federal Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse

      DDS must remove commercial driving privileges from drivers with a “prohibited” Clearinghouse status, such as after a drug or alcohol violation. The CDL stays off until the driver finishes the return-to-duty process.
