Child passenger enhancement now covers children under 18 (HB 2221)
A DUI driver 18 or older with a child under 18 in the vehicle gets one extra month of imprisonment, served after any mandatory minimum. The earlier rule applied only to children under 14. Based on the bill versions reviewed; the final enacted text was not opened.
