      DUI Testing Amendments (H.B. 69)

The state lab must now test DUI blood and urine samples for both drugs and alcohol and report results promptly. The bill also changed rules on shortening a license suspension and on revocations for repeat offenses, and directed standards for oral fluid and portable breath tests.

    2. May 3, 2023

      DUI Amendments (H.B. 369)

Utah combined its separate DUI offense sections into one section, and its chemical-test refusal offenses into another. It reorganized the law more than it changed penalties.
