Fentanyl and more drugs added; preliminary breath test refusal protected (SB 66, 2026 Acts ch. 193)

Senate Bill 66, signed April 23, 2026, adds clonazepam, cyclobenzaprine, and fentanyl to the drugs listed in KRS 189A.010. Refusing a roadside preliminary breath test can no longer be used against you in court or lead to a license suspension at arraignment, and officers must tell you so before giving one.
