Kansas City
Jackson (also Clay, Platte and Cass)
Hears DWI charges filed under city ordinance. A DWI filed as a state charge goes to the associate circuit division of the county’s circuit court.
St. Louis
City of St. Louis (independent city)
St. Louis City Municipal Court (Municipal Division, 22nd Judicial Circuit)
DWI cases aren’t eligible for the city’s warrant-forgiveness dismissals. State charges go to the 22nd Circuit’s associate division.
Springfield
Greene
Springfield Municipal Court
Routinely hears DWI cases under city ordinance. Greene County also runs a DWI treatment court.
Columbia
Boone
Columbia Municipal Court (municipal division of the 13th Judicial Circuit)
A DWI can’t be paid out of court. You must appear.
