What a DUI Costs in North Dakota
Fees and fines set by the state. Attorney fees, insurance increases, and lost work come on top and vary by case.
NDDOT reinstatement fee after a DUI suspension
$100
First-offense DUI fine
At least $500 ($750 minimum for an aggravated first offense at 0.16 or more)
Second-offense DUI fine
$1,500
24/7 sobriety program testing fees
Breath tests $1 each ($2 a day); SCRAM bracelet $6 a day; drug patch $60; urine test $5 ($25 lab confirmation)
You pay these yourself while in the program. Enrollment goes through local law enforcement, not the Attorney General.
